Function not activated

I have a problem in Excel 13. In some spreadsheet from outside, I try to use any formula like

=VLOOKUP(B3;Oppslag1;5;FALSE)

I get no results. Only the formula itself. It seems like the function is not activated.

If i copy the stuff in a new spreadsheet, it seems to work.

    Hi Bernard

Thank you very much. It worked. I was afraid that it was so simple, but after hours of wading through help-files, you fixed.

    Thank you. I'm very grateful.
