Hi,

I have downloaded "Wordmat" an expansion for word. But every time I try to use it, I get the message: Compile error in hidden module: CSprog.

How do I solve this error?

WordMat is not compatible with Word 2016 for Mac. Here is their page where they mention Word 2007, 2010, 2013 and 2016 (if it doesn't say for Mac, it's for Windows), plus 2011 for Mac: System requirements.

You should be able to turn it off by choosing Tools>Templates and Add-ins in Word. Below Global Templates and Add-ins, select the add-in and click on the minus sign to remove it.

    Hi Antidal,

As Phillip has mentioned, this error normally occurs when an add-in/extension is not compatible with a certain version of Office.

In this case, John has pointed out that Wordmat is not compatible with Office 2016 for Mac.

If you have any more questions/issues with the add-in, we suggest contacting their support directly.

    Regards,

    Sheen

Chances are that you have a 64-Bit version of Office, and the extension you are trying to use is 32-Bit.

Get in touch with the company manufacturing the extension, and ask whether it is a 64-Bit version or 32-Bit version and explain to them that Word is 64-Bit and can't tolerate the 32-Bit version and you need 64-BIT vers A.S.A.P.
