Compile error: ambiguous name detected vba excel Jan-06-17

Question

when i add another VBA into the same Sheet its produce a Complile error: ambigous name detected vba 

please help on how can i accomplish this!

The code that I just posted will allow cells in columns D and Q to be selected, if they are empty. If they are not empty, then the cell in B or O will be selected.  

How does that differ from what you actually want?

i was looking for the code you said you just posted, i did't see anything,

this is what i do:

i am a  Remodeling contractor, and i do my measurement with a Leica measurement Bluetooth in to the excel, i have been imputing date and time manually, and i though by having micros writing will help, 4 years ago the last mentioned code were wrote, and now i want to add for day and time:  am i creating a problem to the cell?

I would try deleting the code that your highlighted:

Private Sub Worksheet_SelectionChange(ByVal Target As Range)

If Target.Column = 4 Then       i can not write any number in this cell  or even click

    Beep

    Cells(Target.Row + 1, 2).Activate

    If Target.Column = 17 Then    i can not write any number in this cell or even click
