Microsoft Access 2016 Templates

Hi,

I upgraded from Office 2013 32bit (365 SMB) to 2016 (32 bit)0

When I create a new database from templates, I still have the same template as in Access 2013.

I completely removed the old version of Office.

My pc is running a clean install of Win 10 Pro 64.

What is wrong ?

Thanks in advance,

Dario

I don't know that upgrading Access would necessarily upgrade your Templates. Templates are grabbed from the web, for the most part, but anything you've downloaded would still show up.

Templates are stored here:

<Users><YourUserName>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates

You could review that folder and remove the Templates you no longer need.

Thank you for your quick answer.

According to Ms Access site (What's new in Access 2016 - September 2015 - https://support.office.com/en-us/article/What-s-new-in-Access-2016-76454345-f85d-47af-ace1-98a456cb3496), templates should get a new look in 2016, with a new Getting Started form.

I looked in the folder that you indicated to me, templates are those of Access 2013, even if I delete them are still downloaded the same.

I'm using an Italian version of Office 2016, it may be that the models have not yet been localized.

    Thanks again,

    Dario

I'm not sure any templates have been added to the list for a while. There weren't changes in 2016 that would engender a change in the templates.
