DateDif function is not available in ms excel 2016

Hi,

DateDif function is not available in my MS Excel 2016. When i use =Datedif, nothing comes.

Please tell me how to find Datedif function in MS Excel 2016.

    DATEDIF is not a standard function and hence not part of functions library and so no documentation. Microsoft doesn't promote to use this function as it gives incorrect results in few circumstances.

    But if you know the arguments, you may use it and it will work and in most of the cases will give correct results.

    It has been officially recognised and introduced by Microsoft in Excel 2016 and is present in Help also. It doesn't appear in Insert Function list though. Hence, it doesn't pop up the syntax of DATEDIF if DATEDIF is written.

    OP needs to write the complete syntax of DATEDIF to make this workable.
