Account Linking

Hello, I am trying to move my current account information and learning achievements onto another account because the one account is under my work email and I am switching jobs soon. I would like to keep my learning paths and achievements. In the settings, it has an account link options but it sends me into an endless loop to re-login from one account to another but doesn’t link them.

What am I missing? Is this even possible?

Thanks!

Merging Microsoft accounts is not possible to do. What you can do is create an alias and logon with that alias.

You can chat or email Microsoft account support using the links at page bottom

    Hi

You can link email, but not merging account as say by Patrick.

When you link email, the same "learn space" are set for personal and work account. But you cannot link an email with a current active learn account.

If your 2 accounts have learn achievement, you need to delete one them before link this..

For your next job, just link your future email to the same account. ;)

    • Log in on Microsoft Learn, or Microsoft Q&A
    • Click on your profile like the screen below
    • Go on "settings" in the left menu
    • On Account management, click "add account" and link to an empty mail address

Hi @Joffrey NURIT I've been trying to do this for ages. I'm following the instructions in your previous post, but all it does is sign in to the account that I'm trying to link.

For example, I'll sign in using my personal account. I'll go through the process above and click 'Add Account'. When prompted to add my work account, it doesn't link it, but rather it signs in to my work account. If I then try to repeat the process, linking my personal account to my work account, all it does is sign me back into my personal account.

Have you got any suggestions please?
