Save Button Macro Error in Access

I have a very simple form running against an Access Table. I have created a save button using the standard macro Save Record. When I hit the button I receive the error " EditRecord Failed because default alias represents a record that is read only" I do not have an alias set as mentioned this is the default macro for save a record.  The interesting part is the database is actually updated.

Thank you again for your help. Turns out there was a Macro that was running that I did not know was there. Once I deleted it. It fixed this problem.

Compact the database. Still the same problem?

If yes, can you post it to a public place, like a free OneDrive account, stripped of any PII or other sensitive information?

Thanks, Tom I had not looked at those and I do get the same error if I make a change directly in the table or do a CTRL+S from the form. Is there as setting on the table I need to set? The table does get updated correctly but throws this error.

    Thank you again.

What happens if you hit Ctrl+S to save the record?

What happens when you enter the data straight in the table?
