Classic Mode Sharepoint

I have seen other entries for accidentally switching to classic mode, and having difficulties getting back. However, when trying the instructions here: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Switch-the-default-for-document-libraries-from-new-or-classic-66dac24b-4177-4775-bf50-3d267318caa9?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US

I do not have the same options, however, as any of those listed in those instructions.  Is there another way to switch it back from classic (I do not want it in classic mode, and also accidentally clicked on the link and am now unable to revert.

Thank you!

    Hi Vanessa,

The steps in the article you find should be performed by the global administrator. I suggest you contact your global administrator to follow the steps below and then wait some time to check the outcome.

    1. Navigate to the SharePoint admin center.
    2. Click settings.
    3. Select Classic experience in SharePoint Lists and Libraries experience and click OK.
    4. Back to settings.
    5. Re-enable New experience in SharePoint Lists and Libraries experience and click Ok.

    Thanks,

    Cliff
