Data validation tables in multiple worksheets

Question

I have a spreadsheet with multiple worksheets which contain the same format of data but for different positions that we manage. I want to add two additional drop downs to all of the data sheets at the same time. Each list is already copied into each worksheet, but I cant get the data validation tool to work when I select multiple sheets. Is there any way to solve this.

I have tried copy and paste and this is not working.

You cannot select multiple sheets and add a data validation drop-down in those multiple selected sheets simultaneously. You will have to do these tasks for each worksheet separately.

As soon as you select multiple worksheets, the sheets would be considered as a group and automatically all those tasks which cannot be done on a group, would be greyed-out.
