Azure Purview: Missing assets while reading Teradata

Hello,

We're currently testing Azure Purview on a proof of concept and we are facing some strange behavior.
We successful added the new Teradata source and the scan currently retrieves 1,731 assets, however when browsing trough these assets only 1,395 are available.

One tip of what might been going on?
I've already excluded the scan, the assets, re-executed everything but this scenario keeps repeating.

@Dias, Francisco P - One thing keep in mind is the difference between [Number of Scanned Assets] v.s. [Number of Catalog Items (i.e. Entities)]. If there are instances of resource sets as an outcome of the scan, the latter is likely to be LESS.

Do you know if some of those assets have been aggregated into a logical resource set?

For example, these three (3) physical resources:
• https://myaccount.blob.core.windows.net/mycontainer/weblogs/cy_gb/1004.json
• https://myaccount.blob.core.windows.net/mycontainer/weblogs/cy_gb/234.json
• https://myaccount.blob.core.windows.net/mycontainer/weblogs/de_Ch/23434.json

May materialise as one (1) logical resource within the catalog:
• https://myaccount.blob.core.windows.net/mycontainer/weblogs/{LOC}/{N}.json

Therefore in this example:

[Number of Scanned Assets] = 3

[Number of Catalog Items (i.e. Entities)] = 1

Hello anonymous user,

Thanks for your knowledge, however i dont think this is the case since my problem is ocurring on a Teradata source, organized in a very common SQL DB way (views and tables, mostly), and they are not organized as any type of set or group.

I've also searched things that could be related to Teradata but didnt found any (maybe those objects were inactive or something like that). There is no difference between the creation process/configuration of the assets that are being showed on the "browse option" and the ones whos not.

Finally, the documentation that i've followed to add and manage this Teradata source doesn't say anything if there is any requirement for Teradata assets to be showed:

Thanks for your response. This seems strange and suspecting some issue during ingestion.
For deeper investigation and immediate assistance, if you have a support plan, could you please file a support ticket so that we can have a deeper look into it. In case if you don't have a support plan, please do let us know so that we can work with you offline. Also please do share the scan runID for this so that we can check with internal team for backend logs.
