Recording Lectures

I just downloaded Office 365 with OneNote and I want to record the lectures while typing notes.  I bought the Surface Pro 4 for specifically this reason.

I do not see a place to insert audio recordings.

Is this a feature that has been taken away or do I need to re download this program.  I'm a little upset that I can not use this function.

Thank you

Hi Jemhamilton,

As Bernd mentioned above, We have two different versions of OneNote, OneNote app which built-in Windows 10 and OneNote 2013 or OneNote 2016. For your reference:

For the built-in OneNote app, there isn’t such an option to insert audio recordings.

To use the feature, we need to use OneNote 2013 or OneNote 2016, see below picture.

Regards,

Allan

If you only see this Insert:

then you're in the wrong Onenote (the App from the Windows Store).

Search for "onenote", see two, click the right one ....

There is no right one... there is just one
