Problems with table - Word and Google Documents

Hi.

Somentimes I upload some Word Documents (docx) in my Google Drive.

Naturally this document is immediately converted in a Google Documents.

When I have to download this document - for example after a work session - I observed a problem.

If in the documents there are Tables, when I download this document from Google Document to Microsoft Word docx the Tables are inverted: I mean that the Table in the Google Drive is A B C D E, but, when I open the download file in my pc with Word, the Table in the Microsoft Word docx is E D C B A.

Something like a mirror...

With Word 2016 there is no problem, but only with other versions (2013, 2010, 2007).

Any idea?

Thanks!

Try using OneDrive rather than Google Drive.  If the problem does not then occur, the issue is almost certainly with Google Docs.

There is always a risk that problems occur when documents are converted back and forth between file formats (and Google does not use *.docx as a native file format, as far as I know).

You will have to do some testing to isolate the problem.

As a way of trying to isolate the problem, you should repeat the procedure with OneDrive.

I think the problem is not in Google because I have no problems when I use Word 2016 but only with previous version.

If I open the document with an dop file, for example, everything is correct, only with Word 2007, 2010, 2013.

One drive is a good product but I we use Google Suite in my school and the Google Apps are too precious for my coworkers, they offer some services that Onedrive can not give us.

Thank you Doug but your answer is not very useful, I would like to understand where and what is the problem, not change my work's tools.

    :-)
