Hi MOHANKUMAR06,

Thanks for the updates in the private message.

What Spike has done to the sample is manually reentering and replacing some of the wrong backets. We have seen that the brackets are just incorrect when they were inputted into the file.

In this case, I would suggest you to manually replace the wrong brackets in your document. Below are the quick steps you can verify if the inputted brackets are correct. (If it shows correctly here, it will be good after convertedto PDF.)

  1. Open File tab > Quick Access Toolbar > find Reveal Formatting... in All Commands > click "Add>>" > OK.
  2. Click the Reveal Formatting... icon in Quick Acess Toolbar on the top left corner of your Word window.
  3. Check the display of brackets by selecting the whole words.

Regards,

Ryan

    Hi Mohankumar06,

Given the document you provided, the issue could be because the brackets were created using Arabic language. Generally, after the brackets are created using one language, they can’t be changed to other languages. Given the situation, you need to re-create these brackets manually using English language.

From my side, I have sent you a private message to provide the modified file. You can check it via the link below:

    Hello Frank,

    Thanks for your concern.

    1. Version of Office 365 Pro Plus : 16.0.6965.2117.
    2. Nope. It didn't occur with other normal docx files. But it does happen sometimes when the docx file contains any equations. (equations typed using insert equation option).
    3. I can send you the document. But I didn't receive any private message!

While inspecting the document, I noticed that wherever I mentioned brackets (for equation nos), their is a change in the language. Even though I selected all the texts and changed its language to English, it remains Arabic only in the brackets. I tried Clear All Formatting by selecting the brackets with texts and equations... But still it remains to be in Arabic.

*I have installed only English language in Office 365.

Let me know if I have make any changes in the options.

    Regards.

Could you provide the following information for us to troubleshoot the issue?

    1. The version of Office 365 Pro Plus.
    2. Does the issue occur to others Word files?
    3. If convenient, could you provide us with the affected file so we can reproduce the issue?

    Thanks,
