OneNote App Android Login Problem

Question

Dear microsoft community,

I've installed the OneNote app on my smartphone (running on android) and get an error ("Can't login. Try again later") everytime I try to log in with my microsoft account. This is required to use the app, so for now I just can't use it. I've tried to reinstall the app, without result. How do I fix this problem and are there more people encountering the same problem?

I've followed the steps exactly like you told, without result. Could there be another problem? I've followed your steps several times and even reinstalles it once agan in vain.

Hi Eric,

I understand that you are facing issues with logging into OneNote for Android.

Please follow the below steps and check if it helps:

1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap Application Management (or similar).
3. Go to OneNote and tap it.
4. On your new screen you will see two buttons.
5. Delete Data and.
6. Delete Cache.
7. Delete both and force a close.
8. Go back out to your Home Screen and tap OneNote.

It will take some time and you will need to re-enter your credentials, but it should start to re-sync with your notes in the cloud.
