Visio 2013 Export to PDF Cropped Error/Bug

Using Visio 2013 (Office 2013) on Windows 10 (though I had this issue on Windows 8 and 8.1), and trying to export to a PDF. Whenever I do this, the page is saved as though its zoomed in (bottom 1/4 and right 1/4 are cutoff).

I've tried saving as an XPS as an alternative but it gives me the same result.

I've tried not using my template in case it was something embedded in my basic visio template, but it gives me the same result.

I've tried altering the page size (its generally fixed 8.5x11 in landscape mode) but it gives me the same result.

I've tried saving as a vsd originally and then exporting to PDF, but it gives me the same result.

I've tried saving as a vsdx originally and then exporting to PDF, but it gives me the same result.

I've tried opening a Word Doc and exporting it to a PDF, that works fine.

I've tried using a PDF Printer ("Microsoft Print To PDF"), that works fine.

What is wrong with the built-in export?

Do you have multiple monitors on your PC.

I fixed this by disconnecting additional monitors and then re-exporting.  Seems to be a bug that affects copy and paste when working with multiple monitors in Windows 10 and Office 2013.

Yes - I get the same issue with Visio Standard 2013 (15.0.4927.1000) 32 bit.

    Yuki,

Thanks for the reply. That is exactly the process I followed but I get the zoomed in view. I've tried several different PDF readers (Adobe, Sumatra, PDF Pro, PDF Annotator) and they all come out the same. Also since saving it as a XPS produces the same symptom I'm inclined to believe it is an issue with Visio.

    My build is Visio 2013 (15.0.4911.1000) 64-bit

    Hi Jeremy,

What's the detailed build number of your Visio?

How did you view the PDF files?

I tested in my Visio 2013 (15.0.4420.1017, 32-bit) on Windows 10 by going to File > Export > Create PDF/XPS, then opened the PDF file using Microsoft Edge, but I did not meet the "zoomed" issue.

    Did I misunderstand anything?

    Best regards,

    Yuki Sun
