Change Orientation and Keep Headers Normal

I want to change pages in an existing document from portrait to landscape and keep the headers and footers normal. Each time I try this in an existing document the page that is changed becomes "First Page Header/Footer" and the rest of the document changes pages from being "Header/Footer" to "Header/Footer Section 1, 2, 3, etc". How do I change page orientation in an existing document without breaking all the headers and footers?

See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/LandscapeSection.htm. Note that Word 2007 and later make this easier by having building blocks that insert page numbers in the margins; if you use the "Vertical" option, you can expand the "page number" into a full header or footer.

    Hi,

When you change the orientation for part of a document, section breaks are inserted, so you can try changing the header and footer content, but that would have to be done after the breaks have been created.

Please refer to the article Rotate a page to landscape or portrait orientation in Word below and check if it helps.
