Hello,

By checking some log in the in the exchange online (office 365) under exchange admin center> mail flow > message trace

I noticed that time displayed on the messages log is not correct but my time zone is ok : UTC -05:00 Easterne time (US & Canada).

Any suggestion ?

Thank you,

Hi SQZ_NOC,

Thanks for the information.

Please note that the delivery data in the message trace will always be on the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), it will not show the date that you specify in the time zone. So it is the expected behavior if your sending date is not the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).

You can change the time zone and check the delivery date will be the same.

Thanks,

Robert

    Hi SQZ_NOC,

To look into the issue, can you please confirm the following information?

    1. What do you mean by “time displayed on the messages log is not correct”? What do you compare the time in the message trace?
    2. Can you please send us a screenshot for the message trace result?
    3. Is your time zone in Office 365 is UTC -05:00 Easterne time (US & Canada)? Send us a screenshot for it too.
