Split from this thread.

I have exactly the same problem. I cannot open folders, but i Can open single files.

If i use the "classic version" of One drive in my browser, everything works just fine.

So microsoft, what to do?

Hi everyone,

This issue was posted to the Service Health Dashboard (SHD) as incident SP76646 starting at September 4th, 2016, 9:05 PM (UTC) . The user experience of this incident is: Users may be unable to access folders that have been shared with them in OneDrive for Business.  A suggested workaround is: Users may be able to access the folders that have been shared with them by navigating to the classic view of OneDrive for Business. Tenant administrators can view current information and updates on SHD at the link here

https://portal.office.com/AdminPortal/Home?switchtomoderndefault=true#/servicestatus

If you are experiencing a similar issue and do not see an SHD post, please let us know by sharing your tenant information via Private Message (PM) as this may indicate either a scoping issue or an independent problem.

I will be closing this thread for further posting in order for affected customers to easily identify the information here. You may subscribe to this thread or refer to SHD for the updated information. I will also post back here once the issue has been resolved on SHD.

Thanks,

Felix

Having the same problem,  classic view works fine, and also folders that have had share permission removed are still visible in Shared with me.

    Please propose a viable solution

I am having the same problem. Individual files can be shared, but shared folders give the 'The specified view is invalid' error when opened.

    Hi Tempe4950,

Please let others share a new created folder to you to check if this happens to all the folders or the specific folders.

Besides, to find the root cause of the issue, I'd like to collect your tenant information and trace some logs. To protect your privacy, I've sent you a private message. You can access it via private message

    Regards,

    Jared
