Saving Presentation as an Interactive Video / Embedding MS Powerpoint in Wordpress

Hello,

I used Google Doc Embedder plugin to embed a powerpoint presentation in my Wordpress website. But I faced the following problems:

Q1. The presentation did not run like a standard MS Powerpoint slideshow, i.e. left to right (horizontally). The slides were embedded vertically. How to embed the presentation in a standard format i.e. left to right?

Q2. The presentation had a popover created using trigger feature and roll over text created using screentip of hyperlink. But both these actions were missing from the embedded presentation.

I exported the presentation as MP4-video. But all actions, the popover and roll over effect and even hyperlinks were not working in the video.

Q3. How to create an interactive video in MS Powerpoint 2013?

Could any body help?

Thanks

Hi.

A1 - I may be wrong here but I've had issues with the PPTX format and the google viewer. Have you tried this: https://en.support.wordpress.com/powerpoint-web-app/ ?

A2: See A1

A3: You cannot. You will loose the trigger and hyperlinks when you use the 'Convert to video' feature. It will be a linear video.

    Hi,

    Thanks for valuable feedback.

I do not want to store my content in cloud or other public platforms. So I am not going to use OneDrive.

Is there any other free (or affordable) simple method to embed complete MS Powerpoint presentations (i.e. without loosing interactive features) or create interactive videos in Wordpress?

    Regards,

    Abha
