Editing content editor web part doesn't work properly

If you add an iframed page (or any non text content) that fills the available area of the  parent page to a content editor web part, you are no longer able to click into the cewp to edit the contents. This is just sloppy coding that obviously isn't tested propelry.

"The Content Editor Web Part is not designed to connect to a Web site."

What do you think the page viewer does? It creates an iframe so I'm just doing the exact same thing in a cewp. Please focus on the question: reproduce what I did and try to edit the cewp.

    Hi Webbrewers3,

The Content Editor Web Part is intended for adding HTML content to a Web Part Page, which may include hyperlinks. However, this Web Part is not designed to connect to a Web site. If you need to connect a Web Part to a Web site, we suggest using the Page Viewer Web Part.

    Regards,

    Sheen

What do you mean by an "example"? It's a page with a pdf embedded (iframed) on it.

    Hi Webbrewers3,

To reproduce this, could you give us an example of the iframed page you added to the content editor web part?

Besides, did you get any errors when trying to edit the contents?

    Regards,

    James
