PowerPoint Presentation Interruption

I am running PowerPoint for Mac 2016 on a relatively new iMac, presented via a projector on a big screen. At random points in a looped slideshow, the show is paused on the primary display (projector) when the dock suddenly pops up on secondary display (iMac monitor). As soon as I click back into PowerPoint, it continues. I'm just baffled as to why this interruption happens. Any suggestions, conflicts, or settings I can change?

Thanks!

Check for any other processes that may be running in the background and interrupting PowerPoint. This article may give you some ideas for how to find them: How to View All Running Apps & Processes in Mac OS X

That was a good idea, but it is already disabled. Any other ideas?

    Hey,

I suggest if you are using a screensaver on your iMac, disable the screensaver and see if this helps in fixing the issue on the projector while playing a looped presentation.
