Hello,

I've been trying to save my Powerpoint file with notes as a PDF, however doing so only results in the slides themselves being exported. I have looked online and apparently there should be an option to "Publish What" but I don't get an button that says "Options" as per the image attached.

Any help with this will be appreciated.

    1. Instead of File>Save As, please use File>Print.
    2. Look for the Layout: dropdown and change it from Slides to Notes.
    3. In the lower-left corner of the dialog, click on the PDF button and choose  Save as PDF...

Sounds like you have read an article on the PC Version.

If you are using the latest non-beta Version which 15.23.2, there are to ways to convert(export) to PDF.

    1. The first is Go to Save As Menu and choose PDF.
    2. The second is new just added a Ribbon Button, with an Acrobat Document icon.

The first method uses Apple's PDF Conversion Routine  convert from PPTX  to pdf.

The new method evidently Microsoft and Adobe have come up with a new system.

    • Locate on Ribbon The Acrobat Icon

    • Click on button you will switch to this window:

    • Do as annotation says.
    • Your Presentation will become a PDF.

Apparent the Mac version does not add Notes. But If you have either Acrobat, Acrobat subscription, or PDFpen Pro ($99.00 approx.) you can add the notes manually.

Can you print and choose a version with notes under Print What? Then you can use the Save as PDF function in the print menu.
