Powerpoint 2016 Draw Table

I have a touch screen HP Spectre and have been using the Draw function in powerpoint for a few months now. However, office was reinstalled when I added MS project through my university. The Draw table no longer shows up in Powerpoint or Word, as if powerpoint isn't recognizing my device as a touch screen. Is there any way to bring it back? Why would reinstalling Office affect the touch screen registration? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

When you reinstall your Office, all the settings for each application will  reset to default. Follow the steps below to add the Draw Table:

  1. Open your PowerPoint and click File tab.
  2. Click Option and select Customize Ribbon.
  3. In the Customize the Ribbon window, under Choose commands from: look for Draw Table.
  4. Select Draw Table and click Add >>
  5. After that, click OK. Your Draw Table should be available to the Ribbon again.

Regarding with your touch screen registration, we recommend that you update your Human Interface De vices driver. Follow the steps on this **link**on how to update it.

Let us know how it goes.
