Excel Map Charts missing

Hi,

I have an office 365 pro Plus subscription with my company and I have made sure it is up to date. However whenever I go to the Insert tab, Maps is missing. I have 3d Map but I don't want that. I want to insert the map chart. Does anyone know where it is? Do I need to activate the add in or something first? I have also downloaded the map chart samples workbook provided by Microsoft but the map chart that is there displays: "This Chart isn't available in your version of Excel" Indicating that I do not have the correct version, yet when I go to File/Account I can see my subscription product is Microsoft Office 365 Pro Plus. If I choose About Excel I get a version of Microsoft Excel 2016 MSO 16.0.7329.1047 32 bit

I have tried turning it off and on again.

Thanks in advance

Regards

We have verified this issue further and found out that the feature is only available on Version 1611 (Build 7571.2072) which you can only get when you are on the Current Channel. Please click on this link for reference: Office 365 Client Update Channel Releases.

It appears that you are on the Deferred channel based on this link: Deferred Channel.

If you would like to make a switch, here's an article that talks about how to switch fromDeferred Channel to Current Channel for the Office 365 suite.

We're here if you have more queries.

    Regards.

    Hi,

My Excel is already up to date. However for completeness sake, I have followed the instructions on your link and I get the following message:

"You're up to date! The latest version of Office is installed on your computer."

I can see that the version number is: 1609 and the build is 7369.2120

    Kind Regards

Hi thanks for the prompt reply. I have performed an online repair as per your link and rebooted my PC. However I am still unable to see the chart type of Map.
