Approval Workflow-get error message

Hello All,

I'm continuing testing the approval workflows, and when I start a workflow and check the tasks I always see this error message:

"The workflow could not set content approval status. Enable content moderation for this list and run the workflow again."

What setting do I need to change to correct this? I've reviewed them all and I think I have everything related to workflows already activated.

Thanks for any assistance with this.

Denise

Hi Denise,

In the second page of the workflow settings, do you have the option Enable Content Approval ticked?

If yes, please make sure you also enabled Content Approval in the library settings > Versioning settings. The content approval setting in these two locations should be both enabled or disabled.

Thanks,

Ran
