Hi, I'd like to paste and edit SVG images in PowerPoint (as described here). But it doesn't seem to work, I get the following error message: "the picture can't be displayed". I am using MS Office 2016 version 16.0.6959.2117 on Windows 7.

Looks like your Admin has set you (all) to deferred channel updates For a company this makes some sense as it avoids people having very different features and maybe unstable updates. For you though it means you will have to wait for new features.

T%he version number doesn't actually tell you what version you have. 365 subscription can have SVG support (I think a later version than 6859). Office 2016 non subscription won't have SVG support. I would post a screen shot of File Account

Hi, I am using MS Office 2016 version 16.0.6959.2117 on Windows 7. This is happening in Powerpoint, Word and Outlook. Otherwise everything works perfectly fine. I am not sure what troubleshooting steps you are referring to.

    Thanks in advance.
