GRVopen - overcoming sync issues

I'm using Office 365 for work with Windows 10, which I'm told comes with the latest version of OneDrive for business, however I'm attempting to sync a SharePoint site and I'm getting the above error, which I'm led to believe is due to the absence of a previous version of OneDrive for business. Is there anyway I can download a previous version of OneDrive for business without being told I need to uninstall my current installation.

    Hi Harry,

I would first like to explain that the latest version of OneDrive for Business that comes with Windows 10 is the Next Generation sync client. Support for SharePoint sites is coming in the future.

For now, you would need to install the legacy sync client to sync SharePoint sites. To answer your concern, both sync clients can be installed side-by-side. You do not need to uninstall your Next Generation sync client.

If you have an Office 365 subscription that includes fully installed desktop applications, you can download and install Office via the Office 365 Portal that includes the legacy sync client inside.

If you do not have an Office 365 subscription that includes fully installed desktop applications or you would like a standalone legacy sync client installer, please refer to the link below:

How to install the OneDrive for Business sync client for SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online.

I have also provided an article to help you differentiate between the two sync clients:

Which OneDrive sync client am I using?

I appreciate your support in getting this resolved so quickly.
