Changing Pivot data source header while keeping the Pivot alive

Hi,

I have a spreadsheet with a lot of columns named like month-year (Jan-2016) reflected to multiple pivots on other worksheets. Every year I have to change the year in the column names, which then stops all the pivots from working and I have to rebuild all of them.

Any workaround on this?

    Hi,

I would suggest to rebuilt your source data table

    with static Name-Headers

    also,

add an extra column named: 'MONTH-YEAR'

    and type in this column

    jan-2016

    feb-2016

    as text string

then rebuilt the pivot table as your needs.
