Just started happening.  Whenever I now open word , I get the following message:

Your autocorrect file MSO2057.acl could not be saved.  The file may be read-only or you may not have permission to modify the file.

I can pass through these, and word eventually opens.  When I go to exit, I get the following:

Word cannot save or create this file.  make sure that the disk you want to save the file is not full, write protected or damaged.

It is word 2016 (part of office 2016 package) running on  windows 10 (running in a parallels virtual environment on a Mac.  I am the adminstrator on this machine.  Every thing was working fine till yesterday.  I can save other files to the disk, it is only word that is not working.

everything was a fresh install.  No upgrades.  Anybody have any ideas what is going on?

thanks

Bert

this did not solve my issue, even following the steps indicated in the link.  In fact the problem is getting worse as now Powerpoint is affected and on the odd occasion excel.
