I’m looking for an answer for the following question:

How to view/assign text popups to a shape when Visio document is viewed using visio web access within sharepoint online? I didn’t find a solution which was helpfull. If I create the text/tooltip in Visio 2013 with the User.visEquivTitle solution and save that file as a Webpage it will work with the browser. It won’t work if I upload the visio drawing to sharepoint online. Any idea?

    Hi Mike,

    The text/tooltip won’t appear when we use the Visio Web Access web part in SharePoint Online. To see them, we need to choose the option “OPEN IN VISIO” as a workaround.

    Given the situation, I would suggest you submit feedback to our related team via UserVoice as this is the best way to improve the product. Many features have been designed or upgraded based on our customers' constructive comments.
