OneNote - Compatibility tab in executable file Properties missing

Hello,

I am using OneNote 2016 (16.0.7070.2033) on Win10 and on some screen the text is blurry. On other applications I solved the problem checking "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" in the "Compatibility" tab of the "Properties" windows of the application executable file.

The problem with OneNote is that the compatibility tab is not present. Any suggestion to get the "Compatibility" tab or any workaround to remove the blurry text?

Thanks

I solved the issue setting the "text and other elements" zoom level to 125% in "Screen customization" also on the second monitor (despite Windows recommendation to set it to 100%).

Now the text is crystal clear for all the apps (including OneNote), on both monitors.

    Thanks, for the support.

Hello, thanks for the prompt answer. Unfortunately disabling the hardware graphics acceleration did not improve the situation ant the text is still blurry as before (please note that after the setting change I also closed and reopened OneNote).

The situation is that is the text is "crystal clear" on the FHD display of the notebook and is blurry when I extend the view on a second monitor that has a resolution of 1600 x 900 px.

To solve this issue, that is common also to other applications, I checked "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" in the "Compatibility" tab of the "Properties" windows of such application executable files. This fixed the issue in the other applications and they now appear "crystal clear" also on the second monitor.

The problem with OneNote is that the compatibility tab is not present.

    Hello,

As per your issue with Microsoft OneNote, you can check the following and verify the results. In OneNote go to File> Options> Advanced and check 'disable hardware graphics acceleration'.

Please post to us if you need any future assistance and we will assist you.

    Thank you.
