    Hi,

To isolate your concern, we would like to confirm:

    • Are you getting the same error 0x80070005 when installing OneDrive?
    • Are you using Office 365 for business or Office 365 for Home?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

    Looking forward to your response.

    Hi,

I have the exact same problem. I use Windows 10 (Creators Update) and Office 365 for Business.

The install-bar stalls just before the end and then I get the error 0x80070005.

    What can I do?

    Hi Rahul,

Error code 0x80070005 is also known as ACCESS DENIED error. It usually occurs when there is missing file or registry permissions that are required to install the update.

For us to provide the best solution possible, we need additional information:

    • Which version of Windows are you using?
    • Are you using Office 365 for business or Office 365 for Home?

For the meantime, we suggest checking Andre Da Costa's post on this link and see the list of errors and the troubleshooting steps provided for each one.

Don't hesitate to give us feedback.
