Submit button does not respond when changing Office 365 password

We have a number of users who can not change their passwords in Office 365.  When they fill in the password fields and click the submit button, there is no response from the mouse click.

All the users effected by this have restricted internet access.  They can only access sites that have been opened up through the firewall.  The Office 365 and Windows Azure web domains are obviously on this as they can get to the page and enter their passwords into the fields.  If someone who has internet access logs into the firewall, then they can change their password.

Are their certain ports on the firewall that also need to be opened?

The cancel button works just fine.

No.  Hitting enter after putting the new password in or hitting tab to highlight the submit button and hitting enter does not work either.

    Hi GNofNN,

Instead of using mouse click to submit the form, how about pressing Tab button from your keyboard and then hit Enter key to submit

Additionally, please check this article and make sure you have added endpoints (FQDNs, Ports, URLs, IPv4, and IPv6 address ranges) that you should include in your outbound allow lists to ensure your computers can successfully use Office 365.

Also, please confirm if the cx could change their passwords using Self-Service Password Reset wizard

    Thanks,

    Neha

No.  I added both of those and https://*.windowsazure.com and it still no response when I hit the submit button.

    Hi GNofNN,

There shouldn’t be any additional port to be enabled. Please try adding the following sites as trusted sites in Internet Explorer. To do so, open Internet Explorer, click settings (the gear icon on the left) > Internet Options>Security Tab. Also, please clear browser cache and then try.

    https://*.sharepoint.com

    https://*.microsoftonline.com

Additionally, you can ask the users to reset their own password by using the Self-Service Password Reset wizard and see if this works.

Reference: Let people reset their own passwords in Office 365

Let me know the status after trying the above steps.

    Thanks,

    Neha
