ACCDB locked database

I'm at a new job and the employee training database is password protected and I cannot open it.  No one here knows the password - any idea/trick to override the password?

I have tried 'free' download to unlock Access 2010 databases, but they do not work on the ACCDB only MDB files. Also, I tried to open a new database and IMPORT the data, but no luck....it still prompted for a password.

There's is little you can do.  You need to contact whomever created the database.

Is the database split?  Is the front-end password protected?  If not, you can retrieve the back-end password very easily.

Perhaps you could contact Wayne at http://www.everythingaccess.com and see if he can help, but i don't know if this is a service he provides.  If it is, you'll need to first be able to prove ownership of the database.

    Good luck.
