Hi, why is my Excel tool tip showing what's in the orange circle below. I want it to show the column width in pixels. Any thoughts?

    Hi Fred,

Thanks for your update and glad to hear pixels can display in the tooltip successfully.

If you would like to adjust the column width, I suggest you refer to this article for more detailed information.

If you still have other questions, I would like to suggest you post a new thread in this forum.

    Regards,

    Yoga

    Hi FredTop007,

Try to reproduce the issue, could you provide the following details?

    1. Which version of Excel are you using?
    2. A full screenshot about the symptom?
    3. Do you have any format or formulas for the column?
    4. Does the issue occurs on all columns in the sheet?
    5. Could you share with us the problematic Excel file with us so that we can reproduce it?

To protect your privacy, I have sent you a private message to collect the information. You could check and respond to it via https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/privatemessages/list.

    Regards,

    Shirley

Hi Shirley, I replied through your PM, sending you the excel file, and was waiting for your reply, so thank you for following up with me again. We now see the pixels displayed in the tooltip, so that problem is solved, but our main problem persists: When I open the excel file, columns A thru G total 264 pixels wide. When Alyssa opens the same excel file from another computer at a different office location, columns A thru G total 206 pixels wide. This is causing her much difficulty pasting the columns into another application, which requires the image to be 264 wide (resizing destroys quality). How can we get hers to be 264 wide like mine? We both are using the current version of Excel from Outlook 365. We both are opening the same file from the same Dropbox folder. Thanks for you continued diligence! Fred
