Hello,

We are at the final stages of our Hybrid migration from on premises Exchange to Office 365.

I am trying to recreate our spam filter policy on Office 365 admin portal and i get the error below

I have tried both with and without a global admin account and at several instances with the same problem.

Hi - I had the same problem, I found it was caused by a duplicate in my list of allowed domains to be exempted from the spam filter.  Office 365 correctly rejects this request, but it does not provide any error reporting.  It should provide an error to say that you have duplicates in your list.

As you suggested i clicked the plus icon to create a new policy and i have the same issue in different browsers (IE, Chrome and Firefox). Also on a different environment and different admin accounts.

I can open the policy page and enter all the relevant details and the error comes up when i try to save.

    Hi Harry,

To identify if the issue is related to the server side, please share the information below firstly:

    1. Which steps did you take when receiving the error message, clicking the plus icon to create a new policy, saving the custom policy or any other action?
    2. If you try another browser, does the issue persist?
    3. If possible, try another network environment and see if there is any improvement.
    4. I understood you have both with and without a global admin account, have you tried two different global admin accounts? If no, if it’s convenient for you , please try another one and see if you get the same result. This is important for us to identify if the issue is related to the server side.

We’re looking forward to your updates.

    Best Regards,

    Aaron
