Cannot remove slide master animations

I'm trying to remove some silly animations that came with a company template but I cannot find a way to get rid of them. The title slide image and subtitle are animated for no good reason. I just want them to be displayed from the get go.

I've tried to go to slide master but there are no animations shown, so I cannot remove them. I've also already tried deleting and reinserting the image and text placeholders but the regenerated ones again are animated. ???? Any more ideas I can try?

Hi Ad3a1c8,

Can you confirm if you have the recent updates for your Office 2011 for Mac? Provide the current version of your Office 2011 for us to verify.

On inserting slides, try inserting the default slide template and then check the outcome. Verify if you have add-ins enabled for your PowerPoint. Disable the add-ins via Tools > Add-ins.

Try starting up in safe mode, check if there are differences when inserting new slide. To start in safe mode, follow the steps on this link.

If issue persists, provide a screenshot of the slide master view, with the steps you did on how you encounter the issue.

Regards

Mike

    Hi Mike,

I just updated and it did indeed solve the issue. The title slide animations are gone. Sorry about such a basic mistake, it was just between updates. :-/ Should have checked first. Thanks in any case.

    All the best
