Hello,

Windows 10 20H1 is installed on my customer's computer and has a problem which not installed a printer driver that is digitally signed.
But the printer driver is installed on our test PC well. So we investigated the reason.

And we checked the issue between customer's Windows 10 and our test Windows 10 and found out the customers's Windows 10
and found out that the customer's windows 10 missed ‘Microsoft Root Certificate Authority’ in the certmgr.msc like the below.
We don't know why the ‘Microsoft Root Certificate Authority’ is removed.

So we want to install(add) ‘Microsoft Root Certificate Authority’ certificate into customer's windows 10. Could you tell me how to do it ??

Or could you tell me how to resolve this issue ?

In the PC which you have the Certificate you may right click on the certificate and click on All Tasks->Export....
In the device which the Certificate is missing, click on Certificates and then click on All Tasks->Import... and import the certificate.

    Hello @LEE, SEUNGWAN (이승완_CoreSW) ,

    Thank you for posting here.

Please try the following steps to see if it helps.

1.Please export the ‘Microsoft Root Certificate Authority’ certificate you mentioned from one good machine based on the steps Reza-Ameri mentioned.

2.And then on one problematic (it had better be a test machine), import the exported ‘Microsoft Root Certificate Authority’ certificate to "Trusted Root Certification Authority" store under "Current User" and under "Local Computer" based on the steps Reza-Ameri mentioned.

3.On the problematic machine, perform in-place upgrade the operating system to see if it helps.

4.If it works above, then try the steps above on user's problematic machine, at last, check if the issue persists or disappears.

Hope the information above is helpful.

Should you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,
    Daisy Zhou
