Word Table Issue

Word tables appear to be not working correctly.  Here are the parameters.

  • Word 2016
  • Create a table that spans over two pages (multiple columns and rows).
  • Have the pages defined with both an even and an odd footer. (Header/Footer >> Different Odd & Even Pages - selected)
  • Create a review comment on one of the pages. (Review >> Show Markup- Comments selected)
  • Make sure that the ruler is turned on. (View >> Ruler - selected)

The ruler is off to the left on even pages only.  The odd pages are normal.  Not only that but the table format on the even page cannot be modified.  If you adjust it on the odd pages it works as expected.  Is there any resolution or setting that I am incorrectly using?  If you turn off the comments it works and displays normally.

Thanks in advance for any help that you can provide.

Matt

I think there is one more thing that you need to do.

Table properties >> Row >> Repeat as header row sat the top of each page (selected)

    Thanks Rodney,

This is not exclusive to my computer.  But my version number is the following.

    Version 1701 (Build 7766.2060).

Were you able to recreate the error based on the instructions provided?

    Thanks, Matt.

Can anyone else reproduce this issue?  Just wondering if this is a bug that I should submit to MS.

    Thanks again.
