Excel lock file removed

We're running office 2013 on a windows 2012 R2 Terminal server .

Files are shared from a windows 2012 R2 file server .

We're having issue with excel workbooks that are shared with some users .

The problem is that without an apparent reason the lock file that excel creates on the shared folder when a user open the file is deleted , even  if the file is still open in the excel  .

That enable another user to open it and creating a conflict.

We already disabled the antivirus on the file server .

The file share is mapped to a letter via policy preferences .

If we map the share manually from the user session with a net use command the problem does not occurs .

if we open the same file from a PC the lock files does not disappears

The problem seems not to happen with WORD

Anyone have seen a similar issue ?
