I've been asked to investigate an Excel issue about "disappearing rows"
In a spreadsheet with several thousand rows , the first few hundred rows are now showing - it starts with a header row (row 387) - see below.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Select any cell, press (ctrl +a) twice,
or 2) resize the rows hight.
or 3) Format>Row>Unhide
After clicking on the Select All button, you can right-click on one of the row numbers and select "Unhide"
You can also select row 387 and drag your mouse up slowly until you see a pop-up that tells you that you have selected 387 Rows (see the "21R" pop-up in the image below). Then right-click on row 387 and select "Unhide"
The other day I had somebody tell me that they couldn't unhide any rows that were hidden by filtering or manual hiding. They seemed to know what they were doing, so it sounded like a glitch. They saved the file, rebooted their computer, and the problem went away.
Try clicking on the select all button at intersection of row/column just below the Namebox then Format>Row>Unhide
Gord
Unfreeze pane from view menu and then unhide
Thanks for the replies.
I'm away on holiday for a while, I'll try your suggestions when I get back
