Secure Assessment Lockdown

I am currently trying to build an application for windows. The goal is to be able to offer secure assessments on students computers. I am trying to see if there is a built-in method for securing a windows computer similar to this from macOS.

Looking through this website, there are strong hints that this library exists but I can not seem to actually find it. I know the operating system has support for this as Microsoft has their own take a test app (which would not work for this case). For example if you go to the App capability page, there is a specific option for Secure Assessment Lockdown but the description includes no information on how to use it or where the related documentation is.

In UWP, the Secure Assessment Lockdown is a restricted capability, if you want to use it, you need to declare it in manifest file. Right-Click appxmanifest->View code, add the xmlns:rescap XML namespace declaration, and use the rescap prefix when you declare your restricted capability(<rescap:Capability Name="secureAssessment" />). For more details, you can follow these steps. In addition, the document mentioned, we don't recommend that you declare this capability in applications that you submit to the Microsoft Store. In most cases, the use of this capability won't be approved.

Hi @FayWang-MSFT ,

I understand that it is a restricted capability and you need to declare it in the manifest file. My question is where is the API or such that goes along with that capability? How do you use Secure Assessment Lockdown once you declare it. I can not fine any sort of documentation for it online.

Based on this document, it mentions "Assessment/testing apps will often need to produce a locked down environment in order to prevent students from using other computers or Internet resources during a test. This functionality is available through the Take a Test API", you could try to refer to it to achieve.
