Excel iPad copy/paste

This question has stumped no less than six Microsoft tech supporters who became frustrated and hung up on me. Good luck.

I want to copy the data from MULTIPLE cells in Excel on an iPad pro and paste the data elsewhere. This data is TEXT. It needs to remain TEXT.

I do not want to:

•copy an image file of the selected cells

•copy data from one cell at a time

•export this file to another spreadsheet app that easily performs this simple task (because such exporting has been, apparently, cleverly forbidden)

•retype the data from these cells into another spreadsheet app that easily performs this simple task (because there are tens of thousands of them.)

So. Any suggestions?  Other than opening Excel on any other device besides my iPad Pro that is.

    Hey,

I think that the solution in this link might be of some help to you - http://support.dataviz.com/support.srch?docid=14402 however, I have not verified it myself as my iPad is currently given away to a friend for his use and I am not very sure about how to paste copied data from Excel for iOS - I suggest if you are successful in copying data with the above example try pasting using single tap or double-tap methods.
