Hi! How does one encrypt an excel file on my Samsung Android phone, so a password is needed to open the file?

Hello,

to set a password on the workbook it must be edited with a desktop version of Excel and saved as a password protected workbook. Mobile Excel can open password protected workbooks, but it can't create the password protection. More details on password protection with Mobile Excel are in this Microsoft Support article.
