Assign Planner Task to Multiple People/Batch Task Creation/Assignment?

I wanted to create a task that would track our email migration to Office 365 and one of the tasks is for all users to manually backup their email. However, I noticed I can't create a task in planner and assign it to multiple people or create a batch task that generates a task for every individual in a group. Is there any way around this or do I have to hand jam the task over and over again? If not can we get this added as a feature?

Hi David,

It's not feasible to assign a task to multiple users. If we need to assign something to more than one person, we may consider adding another task with a similar name, and assigning that task to the other person. See Assign people to tasks.

We welcome you to vote for this feature in the following link in uservoice. Actually, from the admin responses in the link, we can find that this feature in under development now:

Assign tasks to multiple users

Regards,

James
