Friends and I work on a convention game show we live in different states so all of our powerpoints, Pictures, Videos, music, Word Documents are saved in the cloud using one drive for business so we can access and edit them. Together everything is like 35 GB. I tried to add a file and it said that my storage is full so I log online and go to the storage metrics and it says my documents folder is 100% of parent. One of the folders inside of it is 90% of parent or 31.3 GB is taking up all of the space. Is their any way I can add more space to this folder?

    Hi Anime,

It is not feasible to add more space to this folder.

About the issue you experienced, we suggest you perform the following steps:

    1.    Check version histories of your files. You can delete versions you do not need if they take up much memory. To check the version history, right click the file> select Version History.

    2.    Free up space. Refer to: Manage your OneDrive for Business storage.

If the issue persists, could you please provide the information below?

    1.    A full screenshot of the Documents folder you mentioned and the Storage Metrics like below.  You can go to Site Settings> Site Collection Administration> Storage Metrics.

    2.    A screenshot of “I tried to add a file and it said that my storage is full”.

To insert a screenshot, please click the Insert Image icon.

    3.    Did you upload files to the OneDrive online library, or in the local OneDrive for Business folder? We suggest you try uploading files to the OneDrive online library to see the outcome.

    Regards,

    Yoga
