When the insert "more symbols" box is opened, it is now full screen.  I use it throughout document editing and this is driving me nuts.  Any ideas?

Left click on the borders of the dialog and drag them to re-size it to the size that you want.  The size to which you so set it, should remain in effect whenever the dialog is called.
