Saving Excel to PRN format

When I try to save a file with Excel 2016 to a .prn format, the resulting file contains the contents of the first two columns only. There are 12 columns of numbers that are seemingly ignored. I have been doing this successfully for years up through Excel 2013. I have replicated the problem on another computer, both running Windows 10.

    Hi Blameitonbob,

If we save a file as Formatted Text, some features might be lost due to the space delimited.

Regarding the issue, I’d like to confirm the following information to investigate the issue.

    1. Please provide us with some more detailed information for us to better understand the situation? Some related screenshots will be appreciated.
    2. Does the issue happen to all files or just this specific file?
    3. Your detailed Office version. You can get it via clicking  FILE > Account > Product Information.

    Regards,

    Allan
