Column Chart Overlap

I have a column chart in Excel containing 3 series of data.  I am trying to leave one of them stand alone to show 2016 numbers & overlap the other two to show actual numbers vs projected numbers.  When I use the secondary axis, it makes it overlap both the other column charts.  Is there a way to make it only overlap the one?

You will need to add extra data series to act as place holders.

In effect 3 series on primary axis, Actual , Projected, Dummy.

and 3 on secondary axis, Dummy , Dummy, 2016 data.

Additional legend entries can be deleted.

In such type of questions, a screen-shot shared of current situation  and a drawing of desired output helps us a lot .

Just guessing / imagining your problem and then proposing a suitable solution may not always help.

Can you pls share some screen-shots (with examples) pls ?.
