Excel stops working when running a macro

Since a couple of days, I have an issue with my app Excel. When I'm trying to run a macro, a message pops up " Excel stops working" and I was exiting the program. To ensure it was not a program bug,  I transferred the file to another laptop. There, all works perfectly. I concluded that since the last warnings about  Office 365 and yesterday reinstallation by Microsoft crew, the problem concerns the reinstallation process.

I need help to fix this issue. Sorry for my potential poor writing as I'm not anglophone.

Thanks.

    Hello Marc,

Let's isolate the cause of this issue with Excel. To check if this issue is due to add-ins, we suggest that you start Excel in safe mode, and then try running the macro again. To open Excel in safe mode, refer to the following link: Open Office apps in safe mode on a Windows PC.

If the issue persists, we recommend that you repair Office. Refer to the following link on how to repair Office applications: Repair an Office application.

Keep us updated with the results, and we will be happy to assist your further.

Thanks a lot Gino for trying to help me. I had to contact Microsoft technical department because my Excel was getting crashed by multiple Office 365 installations (both french and english). The technical agent removed all the Office 365 and reinstalled a new version (English only).

    Regards.
